Get a FREE PayPal Account

In the real world, you use paper money or credit cards to pay for something. In the Internet, instead of using credit cards and risk exposing your credit card numbers to the merchant, we use PayPal as the means to pay and receive payment online.

If you want to earn money online, and expect payment for joining pay-to-click or other online money making programs, you need to have a PayPal account. Whenever you receive payment, PayPal sends you an email. You log-in to your acount to see the funds added to your PayPal balance. Once you have a PayPal balance, you can transfer the funds to a checking account, request a check, or send the funds to someone else.

With PayPal, you can securely send and receive online payments. You can pay for online purchases and send or request money worldwide. You can even track your online spending.

It's free to sign up for a PayPal account or to send money to friends and family. You can also transfer funds from your bank accounts to your PayPal account at no charge.

To apply for a free PayPal account, click here. You will be redirected to the PayPal website. At the top of the page, click "Sign Up".

Signing up for a PayPal account is in three (3) easy steps:

1. Choose your account type

Here you select the country or region where you currently live, choose your language preference, then choose the type of account.

For the type of account, you can choose from Personal, Business or Premier accounts. The Personal Account is ideal for online shoppers. But if you intend to sell something online later, perhaps in eBay, the Premier Account is best for you. The Business Account is for business owners who receive payments online for selling products online.

Mine is a Premier Account. I have not sold anything on eBay yet. But maybe later, after doing spring cleaning, I could auction some of my old stuff.

2. Enter your personal information

Here you fill in your contact information, PayPal account log-in, and password recovery details.

When you write your contact information, please enter your name and address as they are listed for your debit card, credit card or bank account. Do not use nicknames or alias.

You will use your email address and password to log-in to your PayPal account. Read this article if you still don't have an email address - Get a FREE Google Email Account.

For the password recovery details, you select a question from the list provided. If you lose or forget your password, PayPal will ask you these questions to confirm your identity. So select the question that you know and remember the answer to.

In order to proceed to Step 3, you will have to conform to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, and terms incorporated therein. You will also be asked to type the characters you see into the blank field, without spaces. This helps PayPal prevent automated registrations.

3. Add a credit or debit card

You may add a credit card or debit card to your PayPal ccount now, or at a later time. Just click "Cancel". But since we expect to receive money in our PayPal account monthly, we must add a credit card or debit card and enroll in the Verification Program before we can withdraw these funds.

To complete your registration, you have to confirm your email address. Go to your email and look for the verification email sent by PayPal. Click the activate button in the email, and log-in to your PayPal account. You will be asked to enter your password. But if you want to confirm your email address at a later time, just click "Continue".

You now have a free PayPal account, and can start earning money from pay-to-click programs.
